Russel Crowe has surprised the entertainment world by casting his dog in the role of a mixed martial artist in his new sports drama film Beast in Me.

Crowe said his dog is a good boy and should be able to pull off the roll.

“But I don’t give a fuck if he can’t”, said Crowe. I couldn’t be fucked doing casting and shit, and the dog was just lying there at my feet, in the lounge, so I thought, fuck it, he’ll do. And he works for a bowl of dog food a day.”

Crowe and his dog will fly to Thailand next week for filming where the famous star is expected to get pretty pissed for a few days, hang around in the pool for a bit then maybe do some shooting in a month or so.
