Man Says He Can’t Believe How Fast This Year Has Gone Just Like He Does Every Year at This Time
In a recent statement to friends a man has said he cannot believe how fast this year has gone, just like he does every year about this time.
Neil Barlow, 47, went on to say he couldn’t believe it was almost Christmas and that it’d be next year before we know it – seemingly unaware that he’d said exactly the same thing about a year ago.
Barlow, who has been busy with work, family and everything else he’s got going on, was shocked at how many months had passed since the start of the year and said he just needed to let his friends know. “The year has just flown by, so I just thought I’d mention it”, said the unapologetic Mr. Barlow. “They’re already selling Christmas trees in the shops, for God’s sake!”
Most of his friends agreed, one saying it felt like we’d only just had Christmas five minutes ago, while another said they’ll be selling hot cross buns for Easter pretty soon.
At press time, discussions on how quickly the year has gone were continuing.
