Albanese’s nit problem worsens

With an election fast approaching, Anthony Albanese’s publicity team has been thrown into chaos as the Prime Minister’s nit problem continues to worsen.

After initially claiming he just had an itchy head, it soon became apparent it was more than that when thousands of nits were seen crawling around in the PM’s hair during a press conference.

“Nits were actually falling onto his shoulders and running around”, said Channel 10 political correspondent Franz Ferdinand. “He needs to go home and get his wife to put a nit comb through his wig.”

The Labor leader, meanwhile, is blaming the opposition for funding nits during their last term in office. “If the coalition hadn’t funded the development of The Nit Institute, which I visited recently with a flame thrower in order to burn it down, I wouldn’t have got nits. It’s as simple as that.”
