In a scene that has surprised viewers of his new show ‘Ramsay Loses his Shit’ multi-Michelin-winning chef Gordon Ramsay has chewed his fingers off.
The star chef known for swearing at people was said to be so frustrated when someone boiled an egg wrong that, when screaming didn’t work, he chewed his fingers off.
Ned Summington (32), one of the other contestants on the show, said he couldn’t believe it. “I knew he’d be losing his shit, said Ned. “Because that’s the name of the show. But I didn’t think he’d be losing his fingers.”
“I don’t understand why he chewed his fingers off,” said another contestant. “Why not just stick to yelling ‘fuck, piss, cunt’?”
A producer of the show said it was all part of Ramsay’s colourful persona and was confident the fingers would grow back.
