Parent's Outing to Park with Toddlers Enters 2nd Mind Numbing Minute

Reports are coming in that one parent’s trip to the local park with her two toddlers has now entered its second mind-numbing minute.

Sonia Chivers, 35, who decided to get her four-year-old son, Hamilton, and two-year-old daughter, Neve, out of the house for twenty minutes, has admitted the first minute was hard going, but this second minute is figgin’ torture.

And there are 18 more to go!

“Things were fine at first,” said the tired mother. “They were playing on the play equipment by themselves for 30 seconds, so I scrolled Instagram, but then they wanted me to play with them, and that’s when things got tough.”

“We sat in the sand pit building sandcastles for a while, and my daughter pretended she was a “sand fairy”, whatever that is. Then Hamilton wanted me to chase him, and that’s as boring as bat shit.

In a further update, the reporter covering this story also lost interest at two minutes and thirty seconds but was relieved to be able to abandon Sonia and go to the pub.
