Taliban release US hostage saying America far worse than an Afghan prison
The Taliban believe sending their hostage back to the USA will inflict more suffering on him than one of their prisons.

An American man abducted in Afghanistan more than two years ago has been released by the Taliban, who believe living in the USA at the moment is far worse than an Afghan prison.
A spokesman for the Taliban said, “If our objective is to make the man suffer, we believe sending him back to the USA will achieve that goal a lot quicker than keeping him in one of our stinking, rat-infested prison hell holes.”
At press time, the man was booking a ticket back to Afghanistan.
